HISTORY OF THE Q FOUNDATION FOR KIDS®

The Q Foundation for Kids® was founded by several members from the Order of Quetzalcoatl for the purpose of being able to help and assist more children. This group determined they would be able to raise additional money to support children by becoming a 501(c)(3) organization. The Order of Quetzalcoatl has been assisting and helping children for years through their own efforts, now this Foundation has opened up the doors to help even more. Today there are Q Foundations for Kids in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.

Today the Q Foundation for Kids® helps children who are patients at Shriners Hospitals for Children from around the world. This unique organization primarily provides transportation to and from the Shriners hospitals and clinics, but also helps in other ways. The Q Foundation prides itself in helping children and their families with temporary housing as well as meal and sundry expenses. International travel for patients is also considered through the Q Foundation. These are important needs of children when they are facing some of their most difficult times.

As the Q Foundation for Kids® continues to grow through your generous donations, more and more lives are touched. Shriners Hospitals for Children provide expert pediatric medical care for children from around the world, and the Q Foundation is there to assist with patient and family needs.
